The Yavapai Prescott Indian Tribe hired Stroh Architecture, Inc. to design a complete
renovation to The Prescott Resort. The 160-room facility was constructed in 1986 and had
never been upgraded. The project has been phased in order to minimize the impact of
construction on daily operations. All interior architectural elements are based on historical and
cultural direction from the Tribal elders.
The renovations included all guest rooms, meeting rooms, Dining Room, Eagles Nest Lounge,
Coffee Shop, Lobby, Kitchen and Spa.
One of the main goals for this project is energy and water conservation. To date, due to our
efforts, the Resort is using approximately 30% less electricity and water.
The original budget for each phase has been met and each project has been completed per
the approved schedules.
This 160,000 sq. ft. renovation is ongoing and currently approximately 85% complete. This
project has an expected completion date of 2011 at a construction cost of $12,000,000.
