The City of Prescott hired Stroh Architecture, Inc. to design the Prescott Community Center
due to their extensive experience with similar projects.
The facility’s main feature is the 4,221 sq. ft. Grand Meeting Hall which has 18 foot ceilings and
can be divided in half utilizing a movable partition system. The Hall features a state-of-the-art
audio/visual system.
The 1,600 sq. ft. commercial kitchen serves the City’s Meals on Wheels program as well as the
150-seat Dining Room and special events in the Ballroom.
In addition to administration space, the Community Center offers meeting rooms, satellite
library, pool hall, TV lounge, workout facilities, ceramic studio, and arts & crafts classroom.
The exterior space includes winter and summer patios.
This 21,000 sq. ft. facility was completed in January 2007 at a construction cost of $3,500,000.
